Can I Get a “Hell Yeah!”
I’m stuck in Toronto because I’m a tool.
I had no faith the Kings would come back from an 0-3 deficit vs the Sharks so I took the very big paycheck Toronto offered me to come here this weekend thinking the Kings would be golfing… or curling (I will NEVER understand that sport… if it even IS even a sport)
Teams may be “mum” on the injuries, but here’s an update:
Dwight King hasn’t fully recovered from the injury he suffered which kept him out of the lineup before season’s end.
Jeff Carter and needles are best friends.
Regehr is likely done for the season.
Mitchell is another 2 weeks away from skating.
Matt Greene is hurt again, but will play.
As much as Mike Richards has stepped it up during the playoffs, anyone else notice he can’t keep a puck on his stick to save his life? Every time an outlet pass hits his stick, it explodes like a sailor in a Thailand whore house. There’s something seriously wrong with the guy and I honestly believe its from the concussion he suffered in the Chicago series last season.
Gibson or Hiller, the Kings should win Game 4 unless the refs fuck the Kings out of it. Of course the refs will fuck the Kings out of this game. I wrote it, so it will happen.
I’ll be watching from REAL SPORTS so if you’re there and you don’t want to watch some UFC fight, come to the players room and have a beer on me (I’ll be wearing my Kings Stanley Cup jacket) – If security won’t let you in, just tell ‘em you’re with me
On Toronto radio on the hour and 20 minute drive from the airport (man that drive blows), all they were talking about was how much Rick Nash sucks. The rangers had FIVE goals tonight. Rick Nash had ONE assist… on the EMPTY NETTER!!!!
Mike Futa promoted – because losing him would suck about as bad as “Anchorman 2″ (which I watched on the plane. It blows) – Speaking of blows, it never ceases to amaze me that Bob MacKenzie gets this information before the Kings “insider.” That just sucks and smacks of non-appreciation of Rosen who has done a heck of a job and has made me forget all about Eddie Munster.
Bye-Bye Mark Morris – Hmmm. He does everything the Kings ask. He wins in Manchester. He grooms the kids for the NHL and because he’s ousted in the 1st round like Bruce Boudreau, his contract isn’t renewed. And here I thought he would be replaing Darryl Sutter when he announces his retirement after winning the cup this season.
Why isn’t anyone offering Chris Chelios a head coaching job? After all, doesn’t he have one more cup than Patty Roy?
