Don’t Blame Me!
I did NOT jinx ANYTHING! I merely voiced a valid concern that unfortunately CAME TRUE!
I blame back-to-back. I blame 3 games in 4 nights. I blame 4 games in 6 nights. I blame… okay, I blame my parents.
On a seemingly innocent check on some scrub named Kennedy, Drew Doughty suffered an upped body injury (please stop with this) – My “medical friend” politely suggested to me that it looked like a ‘collarbone” injury. The way he rubbed, the way he bent over. “When you have a shoulder injury, you don’t bend over, your shoulder dangles” he said. “When you’re bent over, its more like a collarbone injury.”
Let’s hope for the best, or you’re all gonna take turns punching me in the face
San Jose sent a message to the Kings: We’re not guppies. Or minnows. Or that disgusting swill they use in McDonalds filet-o-fish
They pounded the Kings like a sack of nails. The pummeled them like Rocky Balboa in a meat locker. They hurt them like that opening scene in “Zero Dark Thirty”
But the Kings scored first.
Dustin Brown then took a stupid undisciplined penalty and the Sharks FINALLY scored against the Kings. What’s that? 3 games?
BY FUCKING FAR Joe Thornton is the biggest PUSSY imaginable! Last year DOUGHTY, this year VOYNOV??? Can someone please deck this asshole… oh, right… Ryan Getzlaf did just that in a GAME 7 right off the opening draw, and the Sharks lost… like they ALWAYS do.
For the most part, the Kings stayed out of the penalty box (yeah, thanks Dustin), but had ample opportunity with 5 power plays (that’s 10 of the 60 minutes) and failed to convert.
Are you surprised the Kings lost? Matt Greene was in the lineup.
I don’t think Marian Gaborik was expecting THIS. He was about as prepared as the Obama-Care web site. He whiffed like Dave Kingman. He was banged repeatedly like a roofied college girl. He’d better be ready two weeks from now ’cause it’s gonna be a LOT more of the same. And nice miss on the wide open net from the Kopi pass.
With Mersch and Dowd (not Weal, corrected) heading to Manchester, and the Kings with plenty of cap space, I wouldn’t be surprised if Lombardi recalled a few players to give the wounded warriors a chance to heal during the Vancouver game and 3 off days coming up.
