No Brown, No Richards, No Problem
If you want stats, Read Hammond… oh wait, Eddie Munster is no longer with us. Read that other guy.
Here’s one I just KNOW you’re gonna love.
The Kings, WITHOUT Jamie Kompon, finish 10th on the PP – Chicago WITH Jamie Kompon finishes 19th
I love when the Kings score first, they have a delicious record when they do.
Dustin Penner ruined my night though. Here I was cruising along with an alcohol induced smile on my face and a 3-1 lead and not one but TWO blatant turnovers lead to San Jose’s 2nd goal. Okay, so he assisted on the Williams goal, but he’s only had TWO goals all season. That’s just ONE more than Martin Brodeur!
Bitching about Dustin Penner now over… we’re in the playoffs.
Wasn’t it cool San Jose never had a power play? Kings picked a PERFECT time to do that! (first time since 77) Let me guess… Mike Hasenfratz and Leggo my Eggo were NOT the refs.
The Kings have beaten the Blues 3 times this season BUT the Blues didn’t have Bouwmeester and they traded for another d-man whose name is escaping me now. The Blues also had a worn out Elliott and we knocked out Pieterangelo early so I expect a much tougher Blues team. Maybe Clifford can knock out Roman Polak again.
Dustin Brown. 6 days rest. Nice!
Matt Greene is more banged up than we think. It’s not the back but I’ll be shocked if he starts on Tuesday.
FYI, the Kings… not Chicago… not Pittsburgh… not San Jose… had the most wins at home this season.
