“It was a big loss for us” – Rob Scuderi
At least we eliminated San Jose!!!
In order for the Kings to win 4 out of the next 5, it will take a bigger miracle than the one on Manchester or an even bigger choke job by Chicago.
IT AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN.
The fat lady (excuse me, I must be politically correct these days)… the big boned lady is warming up her vocal chords.
The Kings are pooped, ravaged, spent, melted, and flambe’d! The gas tank light has been on for quite some time and there isn’t a station anywhere in sight (you’ve been through that before, don’t lie)
They actually showed some life in the 1st period but it was more like the cat (Chicago) playing with a mouse (us)
The Kings are a beaten up team. Just look at Anze Kopitar’s play of late. (funny, when I saw him putting on his gear on NBC he wasn’t wearing a leg brace… maybe it’s something else?) Richards was scratched after warmups. I’m surprised he even MADE warmup since Darryl Sutter asked him his name before the game and Richards replied, “I’m Batman.”
Chicago is beating the Kings at their own game and if the Kings are swept, it could be a good thing. Less humiliation. And I might make some money selling my tickets to some stupid Chicago fans for a grand.
Those thinking the Kings will pull the same thing they did against the Blues, will believe anything Bernie Madoff says.
They MIGHT win a game at Staples, but the way they’ve been playing, doubtful they win both. (I know, ye who has no faith, right? – I did vs St Louis, even called a 4 game sweep, but right now, I’d have to say Chicago in 5)
It’s over folks.
Enjoy the SC win in 2012 folks, it’s over.
The home winning streak will come to an end.
I was at the game the last time Jonathan Quick was pulled. He got lit up by Vancouver, Erik Ersberg came in, gave up 2 goals on 4 shots and Quick actually had to go BACK IN! (I think he even gave up another goal after that as well)
