Should I Stay or Should I Go?
“It’s always tease tease tease
You’re happy when I’m on my knees
One day is fine and next is black
So if you want me off your back
Well come on an’ let me know
Should I Stay or should I go?”
Here’s the KEY to tonight’s game: The Kings are DEAD LAST in BLOCKED SHOTS with only 48. Chicago and St Louis EACH have 102. The Kings are also DEAD LAST, allowing 38 shots per game.
Hmmmm. MAYBE if they would put their BODY in front of the 38 shots that are actually getting through, some of them might actually NOT wind up in the back of the net! Where’s John Tortorella when you need him!
I can’t even remember a time when Jonathan Quick gave up 3 goals or more in 4 straight games. Hang on, let me look. Damn, too easy. 2011-12, the year the Kings won the cup. He went SIX straight games giving up 3 goals or more. He can’t afford to do that tonight. He needs to be as perfect as Nina Agdal.
Anze Kopitar needs to score a GOAL.
Mike Richards needs some POINTS and to stop being on the ice when goals are scored against.
Slava Voynov is -3, Jake Muzzin is +3 – maybe put Muzzin against the Sharks who are actually putting the puck in the net?
Kyle Clifford had 81 penalty minutes in 71 games this season. He has 30 in 3 games in the post season.
Believe it or not, the Kings are tied for THIRD in goals per game with 3.5. Can Mr. Jennings wake the fuck up about now, please? Now that the Kings have FINALLY learned how to score?
St Louis has 52 takeaways. The Kings have 14. That’s not a typo. 14. In 4 games. (a few more blocked shots might help)
The Kings taking penalties is about as stinky as an Indian food fart. 25 times they’ve been in the box
Matt Nieto was taken just TWO picks ahead of the Kings selection. But the Kings don’t seem to like SoCal hockey players like Emerson Etam (instead of Derek Forbort who remains the only top 16 pick to NOT play in the NHL), Beau Bennett (whom the Kings also passed on to take Forbort), Jonathan Blum (they opted for Thomas Hickey instead) – you sensing a jinx pattern here? (okay, so the Kings did take Noah Clarke, I guess that’s why they never took another SoCal player)
So let me get this straight:
- He berates a female reporter
- He takes a swing at Jeff Carters face with his stick and only gets a 1 game suspension
- He chirps “wakey, wakey” in regards to a player who was hurt
But you all love Duncan Keith
He’s a scumbag worn by a homeless person in my book
Monarchs do what the Kings didn’t. Win 2-0 in their 1st game of the playoffs as JF Berube stopped 30 shots. They may have a few more players coming their way Sunday.
“The Other Woman” is #1 this week. I don’t care if you hated it, it’s #1, and #1 is #1.
