You know who else has been HORRIBLE? Simon Gagne. You can argue that he has 5 assists in 7 games but he has basically been invisible this season so far. Doesn’t hit anyone, doesn’t create any scoring chances for himself. Something has to be done because this IS NOT the same Kings from last season. Maybe threaten to trade Dustin Brown again? Last year, that threat seemed to kick the entire team in the ass….

Trevor Lewis is way worse than Gagne. 7g 16 a in 164 gp. 0 points in 9 gp. Sure he shows up during the playoffs and contributes a PPG and ENG and forechecks but he is non-existant in the regular season. I’d rather see Toffoli playing 3RW and let Lewis get a view from the press box for a few games.

Ummm…why didn’t Sutter play Bernier against the Preds, as he has a great track record against them. UNLESS…he is in the process of being dealt and didn’t want him to get injured???

If I was Lombardi I would try and right a terrible wrong by acquiring Alzner from the Caps. Washington is even worse than the Kings and need a shakeup as well, and Alzner is a big, tough, stay at home D man that we need. My only concern is that they won’t want another unproven, young goalieto go along with the two they already have.
