Who Needs Iginla?
Just another day at the office.
The Blues were waxed like green beans last home game vs the lowly Oilers – then they held a closed door meeting for 22 minutes
Then the Kings deflated them again.
Jonathan Quick needed to be Jonathan Quick and he was. He was arrested after the game for multiple robberies.
Dustin Brown is just having a solid season. I guess playing in Switzerland helped during the lockout.
The Kings penalty kill streak finally came to an end but less than 2 minutes later Trevor Lewis, who is FINALLY starting to look like the 1st round pick he was supposed to be notched his 5th of the season.
This Tarasenko kid is something special isn’t he?
It looked like the Kings would be heading to overtime for the first time in 26 games (or is it 27) but much like the Chicago game, “the kid” Toffoli made a beautiful pass to Carter who made a beautiful pass to Richards who stuck in in a goal that had come off its moorings. For the 2nd game in a row, the powers that be in Toronto actually gave it to the Kings. Yay!
So now that Iginla is gone, who do the Kings turn their attention to now?
You know what I love? Philadelphia is now the 3rd worst team in the NHL. Not so cocky now are you, Mr. Simmonds?
